From the Rai Arturo Toscanini Auditorium in Turin, the Rai National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Giuseppe Mengoli, performs Arvo Pärt’s Fratres, Antonio Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater (featuring countertenor Carlo Vistoli), and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92.

This movie is set on the Easter Island, where a group of children that must face the mean ruler of the island in a pallastrike match in an arena. Their objective is to free a group of kids that have been petrified during the years.

Lionel Bringuier conducts the Orchestra and Choir of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, with Stefano Bollani and Hyung-ki Joo at the piano, and Piero Monti as choirmaster. The program features: Francis Poulenc, Concerto for Two Pianos; Maurice Ravel, Daphnis et Chloé, choreographic symphony.

From Venice's Teatro La Fenice, the traditional New Year's Concert conducted by Maestro Michele Mariotti, featuring arias, duets, and choral pieces performed by soloists Rosa Feola and Jonathan Tetelman. The event will be enhanced by dance performances by étoiles Eleonora Abbagnato and Friedemann Vogel.

John Nelson conducts the Orchestra and Choir of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Handel's Messiah. Soprano, Sara Blanch; mezzo-soprano, Sasha Cooke; tenor, Krystian Adam; bass, Alex Esposito. Choir master, Andrea Secchi.
